She stole the throne and for seven years they called her queen. But this daughter of Jezebel in 2 Kings 11 never had a chance because she was fighting the plan of God.

In 2 Kings 10 we see that although Jehu began with a righteous zeal to honor God, his lack of self-control brought shame to his reign. "Mostly good" should not be the standard for which we strive.

In 2 Kings 9, the Jehu dynasty begins. And while he did many things to honor and obey God, he failed to walk in God's law. Like many others, his life was a contradiction.
